NeoDreamDev
So I want to build a blog so I came to SquareSpace cause I heard it was the Apple of website builders, however I'm seeing an issue with this blogging workflow. I'm wondering if its just me having issues. (See recording) For one, when I go to blog post settings and select Tags or Categories, the back button is doubled. Second, when I try to add a category to a different blog post the list is empty. I should be able to see a list of categories, and then the check box on the right should be the option to select that category rather then to delete. There should be a delete icon like the rest of the content editor. The entire section is just empty space, that couldn't have been on purpose... right? It'd be far more user friendly to just list out the categories. I think I saw a post all the way from 2019 that had the same issue. Am I bugging? 0912(1).mp4 Edited September 13 by NeoDreamDev Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Categories and tags are added in blog post settings, the three dots next to the post in the content listing, choose options then categories. You will not see a list until you start typing a category then a match if any will pop up with a box to delete it from that post if being used. Just click it if you wish to use it. In blog page settings (the gear icon) under options and categories, you will see a list and any you delete will be removed from any post where it is being used. You cannot add a category here but can edit an existing one. Link to comment
