I need to transfer a domain that has more than 9 years.

The original site used to be a wordpress.org site, but its broken.
The host is site5 but it has more than 9 years.
What can i do to transfer it?

If i cant transfer it but i connect it, will my wordpress still exist in the background?
How can i clean everything so it doesnt interfere?
