Background video stops after opening a lightbox

I created a clickable section with a background video playing a video from Vimeo. When I click on the section it opens a lightbox (Squarespace Video Lightbox Button Plugin from SQSP themes) where I can see the video with sound.
When I close the lightbox, the background video is static and doesn't play anymore.
Any idea how the background video could be reset when closing the lightbox?

I found the videos and can replicate the issue, will take a look

Okay I made some digging, looks like this is expected behavior of Vimeo videos, where it expects user will not want 2 videos play at the same time https://help.vimeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/12426260232977-Player-parameters-overview

You can override this behavior by adding a parameter to your video background URL, notice the &autopause=0 parameter

Note that if your URL does not contains any URL parameter use ?autopause=0

I will investigate more because it still doesn't work when I add &autopause=0.

It's definitely a problem of Vimeo because one video is uploaded from Youtube and doesn't have the problem.

Yes it is a vimeo feature that stops 2 video play at the same time

I see now, looks like the vimeo parameter is removed when the background is generated, 

Therefore I can only suggest you to download the video and insert it as sqs hosted videos background or use youtube. Sorry for the oversight!
