Domain ownership issue; purchased via Google

Hello,

I purchased a domain somethingdirect.com when registering for Google workspace then I was redirected to squarespace to manage the domain.

I wanted to access the domain settings to connect it to the shopify store, however it seems I don't have permissions to do so.

Can you please assist me with granting me the domain owner permission?

I tried contacting customer service but I didn't get a response so far.

I am having this same issue and have not received a reply from support. My site is down and I can't figure anything out. 

Same here!! I had permissions, was editing DNS settings earlier in the day and then wen't back and was denied access. 

@JamieGlisson @MichalPat I just got done with a chat with squarespace support - they're not helpful and I waited over an hour to get connected. What I was able to figure out by reading through the lines since the individual was reading/typing off a script is that there might be another email address linked to the domain. For me, somehow my personal email got connected to the domain and Squarespace had created an additional account with this email address - making my personal email the new domain manager. If there is another email address that could be associated with the domain, try logging in, sending the correct email address a domain manager invite, log into the correct Squarespace account where you sent the invite and accept,  and then you should be set. 

Having the same issue! My other email isn't associated with the domain either... Hopefully another solution is figured out soon!
