Form Submit Button Text not displaying on iphone

hello,

I'm having a problem on https://www.culpagency.com/request-a-quote and https://www.culpagency.com/contact where the text of the form submit button is not showing up on an iPhone (chrome & safari). Specifically the text is the same color as background on each.

I have tried using this Custom CSS with the following but no luck.

.form-submit-button-label {
color: #fff !important;
}

.form-submit-button {
color: #fff !important;
}

Similarly, I was having this same problem on every button throughout the entire site but was able to resolve it by changing each button from "fill" to "fit". Not ideal, but it at least worked, but I cannot find a similar option for buttons in forms.

Thank you for your help!

Have you tried changing it in your actual site styles settings?

Hello @bycrawford,

First thanks for the response!

Second, I just double checked the Section Color Themes for Lightest 1 (blue text on white background) and Bright 2 (white text on blue background):

  1. Lightest 1: All 20 "Button Background" options were set to White and all 20 "Button Text" options were set to blue.
  2. Bright 2: All 20 "Button Background" options were set to Blue and all 20 "Button Text" options were set to white

The button text works fine, even with the Custom CSS, on Desktop browsers, the Desktop Editor Preview, and the Mobile Site Editor preview. It works fine when I'm using Browser Inspect with Chrome DevTools to emulate an iPhone 14. However, when I bring up the pages on an actual iPhone (a 13 and a 15), as the page is loading, the button text will initially use the correct color, but when the page finishes loading it changes the text to match the Button Background color.

Alrighty, after testing it, I figured it out and the problem is resolved.

There wasn't a problem with SquareSpace's end, just a conflict inherited from the previous developer that ghosted on my client.
