Auto scrolling image - within a block - not a new gallery section

Hi. I am wondering if there is a way to add scrolling images to a block. I do not want to add a gallery. I would like to be able to add scrolling images in a column on the left or right and have a text block on the other side of the page explaining the images. I have only been able to figure out how to add a gallery that takes up the entire width of the page. 

Do you have an example you can link to?

@bycrawford I don't have an example. But here is a screen shot from my site. I want the photo circled in green to be a scrollable gallery. A plus if I can have it auto scroll.

Why don't you just place images beneath it?

You can use Gallery Block Slideshow/Carousel to do this
