Trying to get navigation in header to change color on hover

Hello, I am new at this, and trying get my menu items (Places, Stories, Recipes, About, Contact) to change color as one hovers over them (from black to #7BB5B2 or white).

I assume it's some CSS that needs to be added but not sure what and where.
