Create a subdomain to connect store

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.markheinephotography.com/

I have a SquareSpace site featuring my photography, and I want to add a Shopify store integrated with theprintshop.com for fulfilment. I haven't set up my Shopify store yet. I was thinking that I would like to create a subdomain for my store i.e. shop.markheinephotography.com

Does this approach make sense?

My domain is managed by a third party and hosted at Squarespace. The connection uses DNS Connect, so all DNS settings are editable on the third-party site.

Is it possible to create a subdomain on SquareSpace if my domain is connected via DNS Connect?

You can configure the subdomain in the DNS settings at Rebel, your domain host.
