EN/DE initials by hamburger menu to replace Weglot language switcher

Hi, 

This created a drop down right next to the menu, however it doesn't work when I click to switch language. 

Also, do you know if there is a way for EN / DE as in the original image to be below the hamburger menu?

Apologies - the language switcher is working now! 

I'd just love to be able to move it below the hamburger and it say:
