jprettyman
I've created multiple pages with these Simple List layouts and I have always used markdown to style the description text, but it seems to no longer be working. In the attached example, the card on the left used "####" to set the 2nd block of text as H4 in the description ("2024 RCP..."). But when trying to add "####" to the description on the right ("Wildlands & Woodlands..."), it just appears as regular text and doesn't apply the styling. Agreed. This stopped working about a week ago but we don't know if this is a bug or an intentional change. I encourage you to raise a ticket through Squarespace Customer Care. Did this help? In the meantime, any thoughts on a workaround to get consistent formatting with portions of text set as H4 in the Simple List descriptions using css? Link to comment

While this isn't something we can offer further assistance on, you may want to consider reaching out to the Squarespace forum instead: https://forum.squarespace.com/ ; As a note, markdown can be used in the markdown block directly. However, the success of using markdown language in other blocks across the site cannot be guaranteed. I'll share a bit more on using markdown here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205813788-Markdown-blocks Link to comment
