Portfolio Collection : autoplay and portolio enveilling

Hello ! I switched to Squarespace specifically for these features but I can't get them: 

1: autoplay (on desktop but especially mobile) portfolio like this page: https://www.alixelay.com/ or this one https://www.piariverola.com/work (the autoplay is only on mobile on this one)

2: unveiling of the portfolio home page when you've finished scrolling through a portfolio project page (so you don't have to go back or click to go back on portfolio home page to choose another project): available on same sites

Does anyone know how to activate these two features which seem to be present on several Squarespace sites but not available in the settings?

Importantly, I use Squarespace's personal plan.

Hey @PurpleFox 👋

Both features are included in the Tremont-family template, on which these were built.

Tremont is still available (see Tremont or Carson) but is part of the older version 7.0 platform and so it has different features than the newer Squarespace 7.1 websites.

Thanks for your reply, which explains why I can't manage to implement these features.

However, now that I have this explanation I still don't know how to activate one of these templates. 

My site is on Squarespace 7.1, can I change version and install a Squarespace 7.0 theme?

If not, how can I create a site with a theme like Tremont or Carson? Because when I go to the sample theme page and click on ‘create a site like this’ the theme doesn't seem to be in the theme list.

I'm guessing you are in a country where the primary language isn't English? Some of these older templates aren't available in some countries as they support fewer languages than v7.1.

You cannot downgrade a site from v7.1 to v7.0.

If you're still on a trial you can start a new trial and start again by building a new site on v7.0. However, if you've already paid for a v7.1 subscription, you cannot transfer this to another site.
