Problems getting Commento to work on my Squarespace blog

Don't know if anyone here has experience with Commento... I can't get all its features to work properly. 

After installing the code snippet I got from Commento on my Squarespace blog, I tested it by commenting on one of my blog posts. This is when I encounter the following issues:
 

1) When trying to log in with my email to comment, I get the following message:

Invalid email/password combination.

I tried from my laptop as well as phone, with several different emails that I have, and from two different browsers, but I keep getting this same message. (I know for a fact that my email/pw combinations are correct despite the error message).  
 

2) I then tried logging in with Twitter to comment on the post, which is another option Commento gives you, but then the following msg pops up:

error: An internal error has occurred. If you see this repeatedly, please contact support.

Here too, I tested both from my laptop and from my phone and from two different browsers, but the problem persists.

So far I have not heard back from Commento support.

Note: I did NOT have any problems when opting to log in with Google to comment. 

Also note: Any time I tried to log in with an email/password combo, I typed out the password letter for letter, rather than copying and pasting, in case autofill is not accepted.
