Adding Lodgify's external booking code to site

Recommended Posts

Hi. I have been trying to successfully integrate Lodgify's external booking widget to my home page however, it has not been working. I am on the business plan so not sure why it isn't working. Can anyone help? I have attached a photo below with what pops up when I add the code in.

I am having issues with the external widget from lodgify showing correctly in Squarespace, and it is not showing up in general on the mobile version. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. I saw someome post to disable JVAX in styles, but that is not showing up for me.

I am currently having the same issue.

Hey @VictoriaT 👋

What issue are you experiencing? To help, we'll need you to provide us with a little more information. Ideally, please provide:

  • A link to the site. If you are unsure how to provide this, the guide How to Post a Forum Question should help.
  • Details of what you've added (in terms of code and blocks)
  • Details of what you've tried when trying to resolve this

Did this help? Please give feedback by clicking an icon below  ⬇️

@VictoriaT Can you provide more details of the code you've added and how you've added it? I'm seeing over 600 errors when I view https://www.elsasplacelafitte.com/accommodations.

Also, are you using any other code on the site?

On my accommodations page I added each of our rooms in a blank section.

As shown in the instructions in your screenshot, you should only paste the script once on the same page, so this may be the issue. I count 18 copies of this on this one page 🙂.

Can you try using one script on a page and see if this resolves the issue?

I can't see the Lodgify code on the page. Can you point it out to me please?

Also, can you provide a screenshot of the page in editing mode, showing the code in the block?

Thank you for the additional information.

I'm struggling to see why it doesn't render correctly on your site because when I add your Lodgify code to a test site it looks like this:

I wonder if you're using any other code on your site that might be interfering with it?

How do I check if there are additional codes that I need to remove?

Have you added any other code to Code Blocks, Code Injection or Custom CSS? If you have, remove it temporarily (save it somewhere safe!0 and then see if this resolves the issue.
