Adaptive Navigation Color

Hi, 

I have the navigation color set to adaptive. I like the way it looks on the top background image. But then when I scroll down the burger menu stays white and then blends into the background. Is there anyway to make it change to black when it gets to a white page?

If I changed it to black in the site styles menu then it wouldn't show up well on the background image at the top.

    background-color: #000000 !important; 
}

Can you explain what exactly is that code doing?

The code changes the hamburger menu color to black when you start scrolling.
