TSK Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Is it possible to paywall only half of the text? Lets say that I want to give half of the text to the free subscribers but the additional, more in-depth info only to the paying ones within the same article?
tuanphan Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I don't know this, but I think you can use some CSS to hide some text...(but if users know code, they can inspect and remove the code to see full text) If you share site url, we can check easier Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). creedon Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Interesting question. As you've probably figured out SS doesn't have this feature in a single blog page. I wonder if you could do this with two blog pages. One would be not paywalled and the other would. So you'd write up your full content in the paywalled blog page. In the non-paywalled you'd put just the free part of the content and then point to the paywalled post with the full content. Obviously there is some duplication of effort in adding some content in two places but perhaps the overhead wouldn't be to onerous. If you decide to try this let us know how it goes.
