Red underline showing up under linked images

When I add a clickthrough URL to images, I'm seeing a red line appear underneath them when I hover over them.  (see attached screengrab)

It looks exactly like the red line that appears under my text hyperlinks.  I like it under text hyperlinks, but not under linked images. 

How can I stop this line from appearing under linked images, but keep it on text links?
