Summary blocks for indexes

Hello,

I'm using Flatiron. I have 5 indexes, containing many pages. Each index corresponds to different types of video content.

I am trying to have a homepage showing those 5 indexes and pointing to each of them. Unfortunately I can't put indexes inside one index.

I tried making a summary blocks pointing to a gallery. It is a nice option. However, the gallery display is not satisfying. The grid design, which is the best for me, does not allow me to give enough information about the video credits: not enough space below the thumbnail (and not very classy there anyway), no hover option, no opening up of a new page where text could be

Therefore, I'm thinking that the best option would be to keep all my indexes as is, and just find a way to sum them up on the homepage. I tried using links, but I must have missed something.
