How to stop carousel scrolling to empty space

Hello,

Not sure if I'm dealing with a bug or if it's supposed to do this, 

I'm using a carousel to display the languages a company can offer services in, I found the carousel to work best so that on mobile it can be scrolled horizontally.https://red-endive-h5bl.squarespace.com/languages

My issue is on desktop even though there's 5 elements and the carousel is set to max 5 columns it still allows to scroll to an empty space, then misaligning the five on the page. Is there something that can stop it allowing to go to the empty gap or a way to disable the carousel on desktop?

I did try this content as a simple list which I preferred, but when between screen sizes I couldn't figure out how to center align the second row when things dropped, and on mobile the only option was all 5 elements stacked making a really long scroll. If anyone has another recommendation of how to build this to work for both happy to change it.

Can you share the site wide password?

You can set the carousel to scroll infinitely so you won't have any blank space.

You could try disabling the interactive function on desktop like this:

.user-items-list-carousel__slides {
  pointer-events:none;
}
