WebShark Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Hello I may have an issue with Google Search Console. My page www.turtelduen.dk consist of a blog with many posts (100+). When I first submitted my sitemap and domain to Google Search Console, unfortunately by a mistake I had blocked all of the blog posts in Sqaurespace from being found in search results, so Google Search Console of course couldn't index all of the blog posts. I unblocked the blog posts from being found in search results and started the validation in Google Search Console. It has found very few posts now, and the last crawl was June 20. I know it can take a long time but is 2 months+ usual, or can I do anything to push the crawl? The validation status has been and still is "started". Thank you very much in advance! 🙂
Collaborada Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Hi @WebShark You can use the URL inspection tool to ask Google to crawl individual URLs: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289 WebShark 1 Building high-performance websites with expert SEO for local and national reach. Quinez Posted August 26 Posted August 26 I had a similar issue with my site once. When I unblocked my content and resubmitted my sitemap, it took a couple of months for everything to get re-indexed. To speed things up, I re-submitted the sitemap and used the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console to request indexing for some key pages. It might also help to check if there are any lingering blockages or errors. WebShark 1
