Google Indexing - In Console "HTTPS not evaluated" Validation started 1+ months ago with no results

I am struggling to have my website indexed on Google and don't know how to correct. 

Site published almost 2 months ago. Immediately added Google Console. 

Current error - "HTTPS not evaluated
These pages are not served over HTTPS. HTTPS is a requirement for a good page experience."

It says Validation Started - but this was now over a month ago. Plus it says "Last Crawled - N/A"

I've submitted a site map. 

I'm just confused why this is taking so long or if there are more proactive steps I can take.
