Demetre
Hello, I am trying to create a fullscreen slideshow (autoplay) that has a static text overlay on top that stays static still while the slideshow animates beneath it (ie: Not using captions). I have spent the past 2 days and multiple hours searching forums and watching videos and have still not been able to figure this out. Any help is greatly appreciated! See this site for an example: https://www.benhorne.com/ Here is a link to the homepage with just the slideshow: https://www.rossihospitality.com/ Here is a link to the page with a static image and the style of text I would like to overlay on top of the slideshow: https://www.rossihospitality.com/title Link to comment

Solution Demetre Posted August 22 Author Solution Share Posted August 22 (edited) Unfortunately that isn't what I'm looking for. The demo and plugin in that example is changing on each slide as opposed to it being "static" on top and not animating with the slideshow as I defined in my initial problem. I have finally found another post where the person was trying to accomplish the same thing I was trying to achieve below. In addition, this video from InsideTheSquare was very helpful, although some of the code needed to be updated as I found in the post below, the concept was the same and she provides a thoughtful and well articulated solution. Since I couldn't use the Code Injection due to my personal plan, I ended up using the CSS solution. Edited August 22 by Demetre Fixed line break. Link to comment
