How to add another Google Workspace subscription on existing account (before I have a website)

Hello,

I am trying to set up a Google Workspace account for a new domain I purchased through Squarespace. I have two other domains, each with Google Workspace accounts, that I purchased through google but recently switched over to squarespace. When I am trying to add email to the new domain, I get the following message:

"Purchasing an additional Google Workspace subscription is unavailable for this domain.

You can only register one Google Workspace account per Squarespace site. Learn more."

The "learn more" link it totally unhelpful (it just routes me to my dashboard). Can anyone shed some light as to my options? Do I just need to create a website for the new domain and then I'll be able to add a Google Workspace account (this seems strange). Do i need to transfer the domain to somewhere else?

Same issue here!

I currently have Google Workspace, I had purchased my domain through Google and I'm trying build my website but can't seem to merge my Google workspace with my squarespace to avoid 2 subscriptions.   If I'm not able to merge the 2 accounts, I'll need to add the hefty Squarespace subscription to the already expensive Google Workspace Subscription.   What can be done in this case?
