DLD_setup_admin
I'm trying to help my friend build her website (https://www.dolcelucedolls.com). I'm still learning Squarespace's tools as I go along, so please be kind if I'm missing something obvious. The drop menu in the header works fine on desktop. But on Mobile, you can't click the top two links (home + [top page] or back + [top page]. It doesn't matter which page I put first, whatever is on top cannot be clicked/opened. Link to comment

Hi @DLD_setup_admin can you share a screen shot of the issue you are describing? This is what I see in mobile view. DLD_setup_admin
So @melody495, I think that screenshot is from when I was experimenting and took out the socials and 'contact me' button in the header. That works as a fix - but only for the main menu. I found that if you open any of the dropdown lists, they still had the top two items blocked. If you go back to the site now, where those elements have been reinstated for the moment, you'll see what I'm talking about. It seems like having too many things in the droplist is pushing the top of the menu too high so that the logo blocks the links? But even "home" which isn't hidden behind the logo can't be clicked. Is there anything that can be done about that? (I have checked on my android phone and the issue happens in both firefox and chrome) Edited August 20 by DLD_setup_admin add screenshot Link to comment

On the mobile menu screen, you need to move/resize this also to account for your your header being lower due to the search bar. Currently, the body of the menu screen is overlapping with your header, hence what you're seeing. -------- > 👆 <---------- Please quote or @ me when replying, or I won't get a notification Melody | Squarespace Nerd e: melody@melodylee.tech 💻 💁♀️ 1-2-1 Squarespace Training session <- feeling stuck and want to learn? 👩💻 💁♀️ Website help <- send me your to-do list. DLD_setup_admin
Thank you? I can't find a way to move or remove the search bar within the tools provided. EDIT: Ok. I figured out how she got the search bar on the top of the page (youtube.com/watch?v=dWNrtoG6D7g). I'll talk to her about moving it to another position. Otherwise I'll have to go ask the custom CSS forum to feed me the right code to move the menu down ;_; or swap to index navigation. EDIT 2: found out the search box doesn't search text content anyway and an embedded search box from a third-party (google search) also isn't able to search the text. So I guess we'll just delete the search box until Squarespace gets it working. Edited August 22 by DLD_setup_admin Link to comment
