Why can't I move things around in full page (bleeding mode)? Why content width has to be restricted in the middle part of the page?

I want to put text and button on the left side of the section, but I cannot freely move them around and align them since it's restricted by the little blocks.
How should I go about this?

What kind of page are the blocks on you want to move? The blocks are there as an alignment guide and should not restrict any movement of blocks. I think I see a text block and a button block. The Welcome to New Med is that in a text block?

Thank you for response, I changed my system resolution (macos) to a smaller one (1512*982) and it's solved now the grid lays over the whole screen so i can move things around freely as it should be.

I tried this method you mentioned, and it did not change the max width to the edge of my screen as it should when my resolution is larger than 1512*982 (2294 * 1490). Is there a way to change the number of column to be more than 24?
