Creating landing pages from the "read more" buttons

I have a page created within my website template, and its a carousel and under each picture displays a "read more" button, I'm wondering the best route for creating landing pages for these so I can add in the copy. I've hit a wall with how to do this. 

Why don't you make a blog and create a page with a summary block, that is what a summary block does, click read more and it goes to your blog text. Like this:
