CAN WEBSITE CONTENT GO MISSING DURING SQSP UPDATES???

Hi there all!

I created a sliding carousel to showcase historical and upcoming events - month by month by month. Over time, there were sections in the carousel from Aug'22 to Feb '24. Basically, half of these months are now missing - only the months of Aug'22 to Mar'23 show in the carousel.

How is it that the other months can go missing?? Could this happen with SQSP updates on their side??

How exactly did you create the events carousel? What page or block?

You have an events page, and a summary block pulling content from that page correct? 

On your events page, do you have  "show past events" toggled? 

You asked about Squarespace updates, it should not affect content when Squarespace adds new design features. 

I have found that custom CSS is sometimes the cause when some weird things happen.

Hi @IwanJ It seems like you have created this using a list. what do you see when you are in the edit mode?

Hover over the relevant section > Edit Content > Content > look under ITEMS.

How many items do you see?

If you see more months in the ITEMS list than what you are seeing on the website, then please check if you have code that is impacting this.

If you don't see the missing months in the ITEMS list, it's worth checking if there is another version on a different page, maybe you've duplicated the page in the past?
