edit social link icon image in header, across all pages?

hi, im trying to turn the default link icon for a custom social link into the patreon logo. i  was able to edit my social links icons everywhere on my site.... except for the first think people see lol, the header. is there a way to edit the social link icons on the header across the entire site? thanks!

This is the code you need, but it will need customizing, specifically replacing "SOCIAL-LINK-URL" with your patreon link you are using with the social icon.

I pasted it into "custom css" and added my patreon url. its still showing up as the default icon in the header, sadly.
