How to have one continuous background across gallery sections

Hi, 

I have a long page of multiple different gallery sections. I would love to have one image that continues throughout each of these gallery sections, instead of the image restarting at the beginning/end of each gallery section. I understand that the image is not long enough but I've seen on some of my other pages that it kinda turns into blurred colours and continues that way which is fine.
