Error message "This website is pending domain owner verification?

I have just connected to a domain that I own via a 3d party and put the required records in the DNS. The site shows as Connected and that SSL Certificate Status is processing. When I go to the site  www.sjmuseum.org  I see the error message "This website is pending domain owner verification"  

What is happening and what do I need to do?

After waiting ten hours, the site comes up when accessed with its url. It shows a status of "Not Secure." 

The SSL is still processing. My expectation is that the status will change to Secure once the SSL is issued.

Any comments?
