Customers don't see shipping options. They only see Local Pickup

Hello,

My site is also experiencing checkout issues with shipping.  Multiple customers have selected "Local Pickup," which appears to be the only option when checking out.  This has caused us to request shipping costs separately and this request is an inconvenience for my customers and does not engender good feelings about using my site.  Is this a SS software issue?

This can happen if you have not added valid shipping profiles for specific products and/or the address the customer has provided.

As a first step to troubleshooting this, I recommend adding the same products to the cart and then select the country/location that they choose for billing/shipping. If you can reproduce the issue, you may be able to determine the issue and fix it.
