Cant add blocks.

So everything was fine i finished editing one of the sections on a specific page of my site, I could add blocks and everything. I moved on to the next section and went to add my first block as soon as I click add block the screen shoots up to the top of my page doesnt give me the option to select which block i want to add and does not add anything to the section. This is happening for all 5 of the sections on this page no however I can freely edit and add on to my other pages. Why might this be happening?
