How to make a single image switch to another image automatically

I'm trying to have a single image to change automatically on its own, not a slideshow or whole image that takes the whole screen/background. Thank you so much for your help!

I think you can use Slideshow, we can give code to make it autoplay, to achieve your request. What do you think?

I've tried the slideshow and get 1 image to change automatically, but it takes the whole section and I couldn't freely move that image or add any text/other elements on top of that section, which I was hoping to do 😞 Do you know if theres any other solution for that? @tuanphan Thank you so much!

Which Slideshow did you try? If you use List (People) Section Banner Slideshow, you can add text over image without using code.

If you use Gallery Slideshow, you can also add a Section with text under it, then we can use code to move this section overlap Slideshow section

I use Gallery Slideshow, but I was hoping to be able to freely move the rotating image anywhere (like how the drag and drop the image under blocks is), or freely add text/other elements on the section that has the rotating image (without being limited to the text placement that the Gallery offers). Is there a way to do so?

Hi, sorry for the late response. The link you shared was broken so I couldn't see the content. But the Gallery block slide show takes the whole section and I just want a single image to change automatically like in this design template https://porto-portfolio-website.squarespace.com/?password=demo (under "my portfolio"  grayish section). Thanks!

Can you take a screenshot of your Gallery Block Slideshow, note Squarespace has Gallery Block Slideshow and Gallery Section Slideshow and I mentioned Gallery Block here
