first image no longer updating in image gallery pages

I'm having a problem with squarespace image galleries and it seems like I can no longer change the title image of a gallery page. The first image on my page is no longer updating when I change it. Normally, if you change the first image of a page, it makes that new image the title image which is scene on the main landing page. It even keeps an old image in memory and seems to be using that as the landing page image. Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this.
