How to hide tags from blog posts

Why is isn't an option in the settings is astounding for a paid service, but....

...we are trying to organize our blog with tags and categories. The problem is, when you tag a post, Squarespace automatically adds the tag in GIANT text at the bottom of each post. There is no option to hide these tags.

I've already searched YouTube and the forums here.

Adding

...to CSS does not work.
