MurrayK
Our site has somehow ended up with a mismatched SSL certificate belonging to another Squarespace user and therefore displays a security warning when anyone tries to access it. This is therefore preventing anyone who is at all security conscious from seeing our website, and causing reputational damage to our business. Despite raising several support tickets over the course of a week, I can't get any help from Squarespace. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this? Link to comment
paul2009
Have you tried disabling and then re-enabling SSL in your website settings? MurrayK
Hi Paul - many thanks for this suggestion. Do you mean switching the SSL Security Preference to "Insecure" (see screenshot) and then back again to "Secure"? If not, where can I disable and re-enable SSL? Link to comment

Solution MurrayK Posted August 21 Author Solution Share Posted August 21 This issue was finally resolved by Squarespace after 2 weeks of chasing them. Their explanation was that "this was due to a specific location based server " which wasn't much comfort. We were aware of at least one other Squarespace user who had the same issue of a mismatched SSL certificate. Link to comment
