Screen size unresponsive on large screens in 7.1

On my laptop my site content is full screen (e.g. site title sticks to the top left) however on larger screens there is white space down the left and right side. The only think that sticks to the edge is my hamburger menu in the top right.

Is there any way to fix this so that the site content is responsive to any screen size and is always full screen?

Example screenshots below of my homepage and another page on my laptop vs. a larger screen. FYI I have two different site headers, one for my homepage and one for the rest of my pages.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like you are referring to the site content maximum width. This is currently set to 1400px which constrains your content when on a larger screen. You can make this larger in the style settings but it will have a major impact on your website design.
