Change password protected site to public

Gentlepersons,  I am really new to this, but have managed to create a starter webpage.  I set the access to "public" but when I tried to log on the webpage from the web, I get a "password" required page.  I unpublished, re-set the access to "public" and re-published, but with the same result.  I've checked the help pages but don't see a way to fix this.  What do I do?

Bingo!!  I found the intro page had a password applied, all others did not.  Not sure how or why the password was inserted but it was.  Now the site works.  Thanks!
