tpurcell
I have completed the website for my company and recently published it. I anticipated that Squarespace would display my home page as the top result when my company is searched for, however, it does not appear at all and is the About Us page instead. How do I get the homepage to be the top result, or is this something where I have to just sit tight, and it will eventually happen? For searching purposes, my company's name is Liberty Integrated Solutions, Inc. Link to comment

Google will return what it thinks is the most useful search results, so your website has to demonstrate that it is the website most people want when given any search term. This isn't easy. 37 minutes ago, tpurcell said: How do I get the homepage to be the top result, or is this something where I have to just sit tight, and it will eventually happen? Sitting tight is needed in terms of patience, but typically you also have to be proactive. Companies spend significant time and money to appear on page 1 let alone the top result for important search terms for their business, but appearing near the top for your company name should be easier.
