Dropdown within a Dropdown?

I know Squarespace explicitly say in their video about Dropdowns, that "you can't nest a dropdown within a dropdown" 😕

Does anyone know a way around this? Or would this a complicated custom code job to achieve?

To demonstrate what I am trying to do you can look at this site and hover over YARNS & FIBERS, and then you can see how the dropdown has further subcategories with their own Dropdowns... https://funemstudio.com

You can use Nested Menu Folder Plugin (affiliate link) to achieve this.

In case you want a free solution, I think we can use custom code, my idea is

• add some text block with links in Footer
• Use code to move it to Folder Menu, so when users hover on each menu item >> show corresponding Text Block on right

If you like this idea, you can add some text block + share site url, we can try some code
