Hello I am very new to SQSP... I read that 400 pages is the advised limit

How are the pages counted? Also the blog's part. One article is one page?

I need the blog to be divided in 2 o 3 categories

I am trying to set up a site where I'll be giving lots of information, which I'll update in time via blog and I wonder if this limit of 400 pages is "tight".

Other query: will uploading a downloadable pdf guide or not downloadable flip book (which could save me pages) slow down the website??

Many thanks I am very  new to website building

When calculating the number of pages up to the suggested maximum of 400:

  • A Blog Page is considered one of those 400 pages. There is no limit for the number of blog posts you can add to the Blog Page; it is still one page.
  • A Store Page is considered one page. You can add up to 10,000 products per website.
  • An Events Page is considered one page. You can add up to 350 events per month to the Events Page.
  • A Portfolio Page is considered on page. You can add up to 60 projects to the Portfolio Page.

Also, the following built-in pages don't count towards the limit:

  • Cart Page
  • Checkout Page
  • The built-in 404 error page

You can read more about page limits in this guide: Page limits.
