Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can help me with the order of the product information on my product pages. I had thought I resolved this a while ago, but uploaded a new product yesterday and noticed it's all in a crazy order... this problem only seems to occur in desktop view, mobile appears to be the correct order.

The order should be:

1. Product name

2. Description (excerpt?)

3. Price

4. Quantity

5. Add-to-Cart

6. Additional information

I think this is the relevant section of code:

}
.ProductItem-details-excerpt {
    order: 1 !important;
}
.ProductItem-product-price {
    order: 2 !important;
}

Perhaps this needs updating?

Appreciate any help.

Many thanks,

John

Squarespace issued an update to Product Detail Pages (PDPs) on Squarespace 7.1 on 12 June 2024 and this will have affected your Custom CSS.

You can now use built-in settings to choose whether the Product Description appears below the Price, below the Add to Cart button, or below Add-ons (if applicable). You can also toggle between having the Add to Cart button in line with Quantity or on its own separate line. There are separate settings for mobile too.

To use these settings, go to your PDP and the click Edit Design and then Edit Section. After selecting the preferred options, you may need to write some new CSS to customise it further.
