VinoDisco
Hello Everyone, Using a commerce plan Squarespace charges a 9% "Fee for Content and Memberships Sales". If you are selling a physical product using a monthly subscription payments would that be covered under "Transaction Fees for Physical Products and Services" which has a %0 fee or would that be considered a "Membership Sale"? Just looking to clarify if "Memberships Sales" are the same as "Subscriptions" of physical products? For further clarity I am running a monthly subscription wine club using a commerce plan. My understanding is that the $52 monthly fee will keep my site running, and there will be no additional charges from Squarespace to run the subscription business of physical product. There will be an additional "2.9% + 30 cents per successful transaction" cost from Stripe for processing each payment. Am I getting the complete and accurate picture of the costs associated with running a subscription of physical products business on Squarespace? Squarespace - Commerce Plan - $52 monthly fee (No additional customer transaction fees) Stripe - 2.9% + 30 cents per successful transaction Link to comment
paul2009
Your calculations are correct. The 9% refers to subscriptions to gated online content, like courses. It doesn’t apply to subscriptions to physical goods or to services. Edited July 17 by paul2009 Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
