TheVu
Hello community I own a squarespace domain name and I want to change it to another provider, but the contact email when registering the domain name is lost, and squarespace requires me to verify the whois email. I tried to change the email that owns the domain name but I can't because I need verification. Is there any other way I can transfer my domain name? Everyone please give me advice Thanks everyone Link to comment
Emoreno
For 5 years I owned my Domain. One day I was using my business email, the next day it was suspended, without warning. I was told i was sent an email, but I do not find one, not in spam/trash, anywhere. I have provided squarespace with all my information, but to this day no one has helped me reclaim my business email. This is hurting me financially, but Squarespace doesn't seem to care. BEWARE! The Customer Service is does not exist with this company, every step is just asking me for more personal information, but no resolution. I am in the process of seeking help outside of squarespace, even if this just means reporting this company to every government office I can and sharing my horrific experience with Squarespace. For 5 years I paid my monthly costs, never late and suddenly I have no way of connecting with all my clients. I believe whats happened here is Squarespace took my Domain and quickly sold it, without my permission and without giving me a moment to try to reclaim it. This is a very shady-unprofessional way of doing business and definitely not the way to treat your customers. Link to comment
