Email not working after mapping website to domain provider.

I have a website created on Squarespace that is mapped to my domain provider.  I got the website on the web but my IMAP and POP3 email clients willnot connect to my provider GKG that is hosting my domain.  I did not change any MX records.  Is there something else that needs to be done for email to work?  In Outlook I'm getting the following error.

Hi @IH-Teresa, thank you for posting here.

Typically, an email hosting platform only requires MX records to rout emails using your domain. Adding SPF and DKIM records can also help improve deliverability for your custom email address(es). This guide has more detailed information:

If you're not sure which DNS records you should add, or if you've added all required DNS records and still can't send or receive emails, I recommend contacting your email provider for additional troubleshooting help.
