hazelandochre
I bought my domain from another provider as it was part of a package for setting up my company. It is too early to transfer it because it is less than 60 days. I'd like to connect it to Squarespace in the interim and then eventually transfer it however it seems that I cannot get my DNS settings to connect. I've tried more than once and I've waited to 72 hours. I don't understand what is happening. Any insight would be appreciate. Link to comment

Your DNS records aren't correct but you should be able to fix this. If you haven't already done so, log on to your Squarespace website and connect your domain by following Steps 1 and 2 in the support guide, Connecting a third-party domain to your Squarespace Site. You'll need to log on to your Northwest Registered Agent domain panel (not Squarespace) to delete the 'A' record for "66.223.49.49" before adding the 'A' and 'CNAME' records listed in the Squarespace support document. Once you've saved these, it may take a little time for them to become live for everyone. Did this help?
