Images disappear in Gallery Slideshow (Need auto-crop feature)

I have a specific issue where the gallery images will not show when the "Automatically Crop Images" feature is on. However, I do need this feature to maintain the design of this page. The page is a no-scroll page, and just has the slideshow with description text at the top of the page. 
I am open to inserting custom code per-page, knowing the exact image size to be creating within, etc. Since this page will be duplicated and have the slideshow content updated as-needed. Currently I have three images on the page and only two are visible.
