I created a link to my Instagram feed below the art description. I made the link to open in the new window, but it doesn't stick. Even though I saved it and saved the edited item. Still opens in the same window. When I go back to edit the item again the "open in a new window" is grey out.

Have you tried it in a different browser?

Just now I tried in a different browser. It still opens in the same window,

You might need to contact Squarespace support.

If you have custom code you can try disabling it temporarily with this method 

Are you sure you turned the Open in New Window?

Hit Apply?

And Saved?

I just tested a link in a product description with open in new window on my test site and it worked a treat.

then hit Apply and then Save item.
