Domain billing issues. Nobody responds on chat, email or twitter. I have tickets into support

54 domains migrated from Google and because I can't get a hold of anyone at SquareSpace to help me with anything I've come here.

When I try and update billing I'll get anything from a full rejection on a working card to a random error asking me to contact support or try again later. I can't keep trying to do this for 54 domains because SquareSpace can't seem to perform or even respond to support requests.

A bunch of domains are set to expire in the next few days and this has been an awful experience.

SquareSpace had at least a year to prepare for this.

Yep, having an issue with a domain transferred from Google Domains as well. Auto-renew completely failed and billing can't successfully be updated. I have an open ticket, but haven't received a response since yesterday (and the response was basically just "this has been escalated"). Super frustrating. Would love to see even just an acknowledgement from Squarespace support that this is recognized as an issue.

Same issue as above. Two domains; A client's domain expired on Jul 2 during the transition and now it's not recoverable within the 30 day period on squarespace. Squarespace says in the help docs that it would have returned the domain to the registrar which was google domains but of course it's not showing on the dashboard. The domain dns shows ns1 and ns2.parkco2.neustar.biz.

I have another domain expired - showing that it expired Jul 1 2025. That's a year in the future. I tried to renew the registration to no avail with multiple cards that definitely work. The site is down and I can't access DNS settings through squarespace.

Two business sites that were active and the clients are losing money now.

This is crazy that so many people are having the same issue.  It's going to be quicker for me to transfer them to a different registrar than it is to get SS to respond.  One of my tickets is 2 weeks old.

After a few more tweets, emails and TEXTING THE SQUARESPACE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON THEIR CELL PHONES finally got stuff happening in my account.

Of course no word from SquareSpace on it but at least my websites are starting to work again.

My domain is also back up now. It took a total of 4 tickets and far, far too much back and forth to get them to even understand the issue. Unfortunately I didn't receive any technical details about how the fix was implemented, but I suspect it isn't very relevant as I really doubt it's something we'd be able to do on our end anyway.
