Edit Header & Footer Not Working

Hi all,

I'm facing some strange issues. Let me try to see if I can explain it.

Normally when I'm editing content elements in the editor it would "reload" on the fly. But right now it dosen't work - the only way I seems to see the changes is to save and hard reload my browser window...

I've both tried in Arc, Chrome and Safari they all have the issue - it haven't been a issue before?

Everytime I try to edit the header or the footer on my website it brings me back to the main squarespace navigation but where the website should appear it goes fully blank with a white screen. I can edit every other part of my homepage. If I refresh the page it brings back the homepage again where it was blank and I can click to edit again; but not an editing section of header/footer.

Other solutions I've already seen:
- I am the sole admin on this website and the only account associated with it.
- I have a small amount of custom CSS to change the background of the drop down menus, but this problem was occurring before I added that

I have not upgraded to a subscription because I'm waiting on approval to use Squarespace from the client I'm working on this for & I want to have the homepage completed to show them. Do I need a subscription to edit header/footer??? Any other solutions???

I only see changes when I save page and reload again.

@Parker_SQSP is there any news or fix comming up on this? it's a bit frustering that we're paying for something that dosen't work well.
