yoursunnyone Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I am working on the SEO for my client's site. Should I use my Google account or the client's?
creedon Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I suggest you get your client set up with an account for Google Search Console. Then have them add you as a user on the property with full privileges. I like to make sure that the client has full control of their content. Even if they don't actually do the work now. If in the future they want to do the work or have someone else do it, they can. I can't tell you how may clients I've worked with that didn't have full control of their content and it can be a real pain to get that control back without a bunch of pain. sayreambrosio Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I've used both methods in the past but prefer to have the client do it on their end if possible. Like @creedon said, they should have full control of their content. creedon 1 Sayre Design Site: https://www.stregaconsulting.com Author Coordinates: https://bio.site/sayreambrosio Italian Journey: https://bio.site/ambrosiosjrnyhm
